Alana Waye is a sophomore who finds journalism and news writing interesting and hopes you do too. She is very relaxed and is happy to direct or assist anyone that needs help.
Jackson Lair, Section Editor
Hazel Lair is in their third year of writing for the Cavalier Chronicle. They focus on the plants and animals that live around the school and on the greater ecosystem of Virginia, documenting environmental issues and yearly seasonal changes. They hope to help community members become more aware of the life surrounding them so they can make more informed decisions and better appreciate the world they live in. They love to spend time gardening, fishing, and foraging for edible plants.

Bella is a Senior and this will be her first year writing for the Chronicle. She wants to work in Law, eventually in D.C to help fight for change. She joined journalism to write about what is happening around school and in the area. She is involved in many after school activities including being an ambassador for the food bank, Film Club and volunteering around her community. She is excited for what is to come and can not wait to write this year!
