The Clover Hill Girls Tennis team has been undefeated this season, all thanks to their hard work and dedication. This season has been the first in a while that the girls’ tennis team has been this successful. The Coach, Fahim Rahman, speaks on the team’s work ethic throughout this season.
“They show up consistently and do the work with no complaints. They’re stronger than other teams from a mental and athletic perspective, and they deserve all the accomplishments from this season.” Rahman says.
Freshman Arina Teverovska reflects on this season as she is undefeated in all of her matches this season.
“We have a really good coach, he knows what he’s doing and he’s experienced in tennis,” Teverovska said. “The team is also a really good group of people and they put in the work and communicate well during doubles matches.”
The team also has a very close relationship with each other, as stated by Teverovska. They go out to team dinners often before for games and Teverovska says she has made many new friends during the season.
“I enjoy having people to practice with and improve with. Everyone on the team is so sweet and fun to be around.” Teverovska said.
The team’s friendly environment, effort, and skill level all contributed to the successful season Clover Hill had this year, and they hope to continue this trend into next year’s season.
