Homecoming is next week and fast approaching, so get ready for spirit days, the football game, and the dance!
Throughout the week there are spirit days to show off your school spirit. Each day has a theme to dress up in, starting with Monday. Monday’s theme dress to unimpress, so wear your worst outfit or just roll out of bed and come in wearing your pajamas! Tuesday is athletes versus mathletes; are you going to be brains or brawns? Wednesday is rhyme without reason, and it is all about creating funny rhymes that do not relate to each other. For example, Mr. Clean and a queen, or ladybug and a pug. Thursday’s theme is drip or drown, so get together some nice formal wear or get your scuba gear out. On Friday, there is going to be a school wide pep rally, so get your class colors ready! Freshmen wear white, sophomores wear gold or yellow, juniors wear green, and Seniors wear black or togas. We can’t wait to see your school pride!
Friday Oct. 25th is our homecoming football game against Richmond High School of the Arts. Before the game there is a tailgate in the bus loop, and the game starts at 7 pm. Tickets are 10 dollars and can be purchased online at gofan.co, or at the door. Come out and show school spirit and love for the football team and marching band!
We are all excited for our homecoming dance, so here is some general information. The dance is Oct. 26th from 7-10pm in the Clover Hill High School commons. Tickets are going to be $10 and will be available to purchase during your lunch period from Oct. 21st-25th. Juniors and seniors will not be able to buy a ticket if their dues are not paid; junior dues are $40 and senior dues are $50. Remember to dress appropriately, the theme is City of Stars (La La Land), and the attire is semi-formal. If the staff at the dance can tell you are impaired by any substance you will not be allowed into the dance.

I really enjoyed this article. I had fun HOME COMING week. I love Wednesday one. I think it is best of spirit days. Because it was interesting, and I felt it showed a lot of individuality. I can’t wait next spirit days.
