Taaha Bhatti is a Math and Science senior at Clover Hill High School who has committed time and effort to have a successful future. Taaha’s high school journey is defined by leadership, dedication, and hard work, which has earned him a full scholarship to Nova Southeastern University.
Taaha was involved in a variety of clubs throughout his high school career. Not only was he a member, but he was also the president and founder of the Red Cross Club.
“I’m in the Red Cross Club, National Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta,” Bhatti said.
During his time in these clubs, he learned valuable lessons and ways to achieve impressive grades.
“They made me stay on top of my grades, my academics, and made me stay volunteering and active within my community,” Bhatti said.
Having a strong course schedule can make or break your opportunity to get into your dream school. Taaha was enrolled in a significant amount of AP classes that made his high school experience challenging but successful.
“My course load was pretty rigorous. I had 20 APs [total], seven APs in my junior year, and six my senior year,” Bhatti said.
With a variety of volunteering and accomplishments, Taaha spent time helping the community in high school.
“I was an EMT, which basically means I rode in ambulances which was probably my biggest extracurricular, but it allowed me to help people in the community. I was also a Senate page in ninth grade, where I worked for the Senate for nine weeks and missed a lot of school,” Bhatti said.
Participating in high school sports helps students understand the importance of being a leader and working together as a team. Taaha was involved in several different sports teams at Clover Hill and made an important impact on each.
“I did soccer my senior and sophomore year, I did wrestling my sophomore year, and I did volleyball my freshman year. I also did jiu jitsu outside of school all four years,” Bhatti said.
After years of high school, Taaha learned how to manage his time effectively and complete his work on schedule to achieve strong grades.
“I usually just did all my work in school. As long as I’m doing homework at school and studying during school, it allows me to stay on top of it because I’m not really worried about it at home, and it allows me to do my extracurriculars too,” Bhatti said.
Looking beyond high school, Taaha has big dreams in the future to succeed and follow his dreams of entering the dental field.
“I plan on becoming a dentist, hopefully opening my own business, and probably continuing my EMT volunteering,” Bhatti said.
Taaha Bhatti’s hard work and dedication throughout high school has set him up for a bright future. With strong leadership, academic success, and a passion for helping others, he is on his way to big achievements.
