Clover Hill High School just wrapped up a week full of fun and community as students and staff participated in Spirit Week, Sept. 29 to Oct. 3, leading up to the dance.
Every day had a new theme and a fun way to show off students’ creativity and school pride. Spirit Week at Clover Hill has always meant more to the community than just dressing up; it is a chance for students to connect, make memories, and remember that school is not only about sitting at a desk and learning, but also to enjoy the atmosphere with friends.
This year’s themes:
- Monday – Pajama Day where everyone showed up in their comfiest clothes and sleep attire.
- Tuesday – Twin Day where people wore matching outfits and coordinated looks.
- Wednesday – Decades Day had people dressed up like they were from all kinds of iconic decades.
- Friday – Class Colors wrapped up the week with a sea each grade proudly representing their class.
Senior and Student Council Association Vice President Clara Heath helped plan the festivities and said the goal was to bring everyone together.
“I would say spirit week is a good time to bring everybody together and remind them that school isn’t just about sitting in classes. Coming to school can be fun and we’re all one big community,” Heath said.
Teachers joined in on the fun too, and by the time the week wrapped up, the entire Hill was ready for the Homecoming football game and dance!
