On Saturday, March 4, celebrated as National Marching Arts Day, the Clover Hill performing arts department hosted an Atlantic Indoor Association (AIA) competition, an indoor event that featured performances from bands and color guards.

At the competition, both Clover Hill Indoor Percussion (CHIP) and the winter guard won first place out of all schools in attendance.

CHIP took first place out of all schools in Percussion Scholastic Regional A and earned the highest score out of any percussion group with 80.5 points. This is a 15 point improvement from their first performance of the season.

Meanwhile, the winter guard took home their first top placement of the season, scoring the highest out of all color guards at the competition with their routine and execution.

Additionally, student, family and alumni volunteers worked all day to ensure that the competition ran smoothly. They did everything from preparing and serving food to taking pictures of performances to setting up and breaking down the equipment.
