Announcements:

Students interested in being freshman mentors should complete the interest form. The form can be found in the morning announcements on Canvas.

“Into the Woods” by Theatre on the Hill will have showings on Thursday to Friday at 7 p.m

Anyone interested in taking Behind the Wheel this summer, there will be sign ups on May 10, 2023 from 5- 6:30 p.m at door 11. See Mrs.Lambert for more information.

 

Last week:

Juniors brought in the most donations last week for the CHHS Food Drive. All together, almost 500 pounds of food were accumulated. This food will be donated to help the hungry in Central Virginia. 

 

This week:

Monday (5/1):

There will be a rehearsal for “Into the Woods” by Theatre on the Hill from 3-7 p.m. in the auditorium.

Seniors will have their last chance to purchase tickets for the senior picnic

There will be an Academy for the Arts Senior Showcase in the forum form 5-9 p.m

The girls varsity lacrosse team has a game against Goochland at home. The game will start at 5:30 p.m

The boys varsity lacrosse team has a game against Goochland at home. The game will start at 7 p.m

 

Tuesday (5/2):

There will be a rehearsal for “Into the Woods” by Theatre on the Hill from 3-7 p.m. in the auditorium.

The boys varsity tennis team has a game against Monacan at home. The game will start at 3:30 p.m

The girls varsity tennis team has a game against Monacan on the road. The game will start at 3:30 p.m

The baseball teams have games against Manchester. The junior varsity team will play on the road and the varsity team will play at home. Both games start at 5 p.m

The softball teams have games against Manchester. The junior varsity team will play on the road and the varsity team will play at home. Both games start at 5 p.m

The girls soccer teams have games against Manchester. Both teams will play on the road. The junior varsity team will start at 5:30 p.m and the varsity team will start at 7 p.m

Wednesday (5/3):

There will be a rehearsal for “Into the Woods” by Theatre on the Hill from 3-7 p.m. in the auditorium.

Cavs for Christ will meet before school in room 423. All are welcome to join.

Ultimate frisbee club will be meeting in room 412.

The Green Stockings Sewing and Needlework club will have their final meeting after school in room 412. Feel free to bring any projects you are working on. All are working.

The baseball teams have games against Midlothian. The junior varsity team will play on the road and the varsity team will play at home. Both games will start at 5 p.m.

In the community: 

Movieland at Boulevard Square will no longer be allowing people under 17 to enter the theater without an adult present after 7:30 p.m.

A new minor-league baseball park is going to be built in Richmond. It is projected to open sometime in 2026.
