Symphonic band and wind ensemble sweep superior ratings at assessment concert
The symphonic band performs during their assessment.
The two bands, symphonic band and wind ensemble, earned unanimous superior ratings from all four judges at their assessment performance on March 3. Additionally, the wind ensemble received an “A” on every sub category.
The Cavs earned their perfect scores at the assessment concert at Goochland High School, where schools in the region perform in front of judges to receive ratings for their music.
Junior Timothy Ellis and sophomore Sam Hopkins play the saxophone.
