On Nov. 25, students and faculty of the Hill gathered outside for its annual Powderpuff football game, where juniors and sophomores faced off against seniors and freshmen for a friendly showdown. This event is different from traditional football as girls took to the field and boys took to the sidelines as cheerleaders.
In addition, several students stepped into leadership roles as coaches and commentators. Their banter and enthusiasm kept the game lighthearted, fun, and enjoyable to all.
Speaking of fun, the cheerleaders’ halftime performance stole the spotlight, featuring a choreographed routine to “Golden” from Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters. The performance had everyone laughing and enjoying themselves as a community.
The game itself was a close one, with both teams playing hard until the end. The seniors managed to secure a well-deserved 14-12 victory. Despite the outcome, Powderpuff did what it always does best by bringing the whole community together.
