Medford basketball team beats Midlo on senior day

On Thursday, March 16, the Medford Cavaliers secured a 24-22 victory over the Midlothian Trojans at home after honoring their seniors.
The seniors honored at the ceremony were Claire Burton, Emi Krakie, Sean Thomas, Vivian Zook, Cody Bruington, Kendal Simoneaux, Erin Davids, Collin Cattie, Olivia Sandy, Julia Wissinger, Peyton Nilles, Vivian Rice, Luci Chiavaroli and Abbi Bills.
In the game, the Cavs built a lead in the first half and then maintained it in the second. Chiavaroli, Thomas and Tyler Armstrong made shots in the fourth quarter to extend the lead and keep it out of Midlothian’s reach.
