Week at A Glance:   

Monday: A Bell. All-County Spring Awards 

Tuesday: A Bell. PTSO Elections.  School Board Meeting. 

Wednesday: A Bell. Last full day for Seniors.  Athletics Boosters. 

ThursdaySenior Exams Begin.  Adjusted Bell (below) for this day ONLY.   Seniors ONLY have to be at school for exams they must take.  Spring Band Concert at 7 p.m. 

Friday: A Bell. Senior Exams 3 O & 4 O. 

 

Senior Exams begin this week: Seniors only need to attend school during their exam block if they are taking the exam once exams begin.  If they have been exempted, they do not have to attend that class.  They may leave after exams if they have transportation.  Buses will run at regular times from May 14 through May 19, so seniors who ride the bus will either need alternate transportation or will have to remain at school until our buses pick up at 3 p.m.  We will have a holding area for any seniors who ride the bus. Please reach out with questions. 

 

Graduation Parking Passes:

We will sell additional parking passes at lunch this week for $10.

Clover Hill Athletic Booster Club Meeting:

Wednesday, May 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the library.

Need a Physical for NEXT Year?

We are having a physical night, hosted by VCU Health Sports Medicine, at Clover Hill on May 11 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

The cost is $20 per athlete, CASH ONLY!

Check-in will start at 3:30 p.m. near the concession stand at the gym/door 10. Last check-in will be 5:30 p.m.

Athletes MUST have all student/parent portions of the VHSL physical completed prior to coming. Incomplete/unsigned forms will NOT be accepted.

 

GRADUATION 2026 INFORMATION:

ALL seniors who plan to attend and walk at Graduation MUST attend rehearsal on May 20.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  

Graduation Attire:  

NO ATHLETIC SHOES.  NO JEANS.  Dark dress pants and white collared shirts.  Dresses may be dark or white. 

*Graduation gown, hat & hood; APPROVED, CHHS stoles only, medals, cords and tassels

*Tassels go to the right! 

*NO HAT DECORATIONS

*Dresses no longer than the gown

*Dark colored dress pants, NO JEANS

*White dress shirts, ties are worn with the dress shirt

*Shoes:  Dress shoes only, NO ATHLETIC SHOES

*Shoes should be neutral in color: black, white, or nude.

*Be aware that you will be standing quite a bit.  Be sure your shoes are comfortable!

 

2026 Clover Hill High School Commencement:

Thursday, May 21, 2026 – 9:30 a.m. at The Siegel Center at Virginia Commonwealth Commonwealth University 

ARRIVAL:

Graduates should report to the Siegel Center by 8:30 a.m.

End of Year Assembly Info Reminder:

Underclass Awards – May 20 – Early Release/Grad Rehearsal Day (see below).  9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  Will we use the same arrival plan as above for parents, beginning at 8:30 a.m.  Students will be called to join us at 8:50 a.m. Parents of students receiving awards will be notified by May 15.  Each award winner is allowed two guests, kids under 6 do not count. 

 

End of Year Chromebook Returns:

All students will return their Chromebooks on their last day of school, even if they are going to summer school.  

Any Senior who has not turned their Chromebook in by May 20 must turn it in before rehearsal to receive their graduation ticket packet, including their parking pass.  

 

May 20 is a BIG Day!

-Underclass Awards @ 9 a.m.

-Senior CB Return @ 11:00 a.m.  When you turn in your Chromebook on your final day of school, either after final exam or before Gradation Rehearsal on May 20, you will receive a receipt to provide to us to receive your graduation tickets.

-Underclass Release @ Noon.

-Graduation Rehearsal (MANDATORY) @ 12:30 p.m.

-Senior Picnic @ 2:30/3 p.m. (as soon as we complete rehearsal).

***Seniors will receive their GRADUATION PACKET, including tickets and a parking pass, after rehearsal, before they leave the Senior Picnic.  Students must have turned in their Chromebook to receive their Graduation Packet.  

 

Volunteers Needed:

June 11-19, Clover Hill will host the National Speech and Debate Tournament.  The Richmond Forum Speech and Debate Initiative and the rest of the local committee needs volunteers from every school to pitch in to make this happen!
